New Jersey Pharmacy Error Lawyer – CVS Pharmacy Gives Kids Cancer Drug by Mistake

March 29th, 2012

As a New Jersey pharmacy error lawyer, I was shocked to hear that CVS pharmacy gave kids a cancer drug by mistake. CVS predicted that around fifty children were given the breast-cancer treatment drug Tamoxifen instead of what they were prescribed, a chewable flouride tablet. Luckily, the children that ingested the drug weren’t harmed by it but this definitely sheds light on the fact that pharmacy mistakes can easily be made. Consumers should be careful and due their homework to make sure they are receiving the right prescriptions.
